Eldar Murtazin, the venerable insider in the world of smartphones, has come up with claims of having a Samsung GT-i9100 to play with at the moment, also calling it the "Galaxy 2". He says that it is extremely advanced in terms of technology, partly due to the dual-core processor. Hmmm, smartphones seem to be moving in the direction of netbooks in terms of processor power, and we can't wait to see smartphones hit 1.6GHz speeds to give the Intel Atom a run for its money. Of course, with a dual-core processor running underneath the hood, it goes without saying that the smartphone will definitely be a battery guzzler, although we're not too sure what other kind of energy efficient moves have been included to help it last through the day. Imagine playing processor intensive games on this - will it just burst into flames right in your hands due to the heat?
