Sony teases with NXCAM 35mm-grade camcorder

Being teased is not much fun, as it tends to whet your appetite and leave you wanting more and yet suffer from that "hanging" feeling - somewhat equivalent to making out halfway only to have your new girlfriend suit up and leave your place simply because she has to catch that TV series. Well, Sony makes you feel that way with this teaser video of their new pro-level NXCAM camcorder which will rely on the similar E-Mount lenses that can be found on the popular NEX-series of cameras, including the 18-200mm lens. Since the NXCAM features the E-Mount system, that also means it will play nice with Sony Alpha mount lenses. Apart from that, you will be able to enjoy full HD recording in AVCHD format at a variety of frame rates, such as 60p, 50p, 30p, 25p and 24p. No idea on when the NXCAM will roll out to general markets though.
