After last night's Grammy Awards came to an end, Los Angeles' CBS 2 News correspondent Serene Branson appeared to have a pretty epic flub-up during her coverage of Lady Antebellum's wins.The video quickly went viral overnight, but some commenters were concerned that Branson's labored speech could be more than just a Miss Teen South Carolina moment.
This morning it looked like their concern may not have been misplaced when England's The Telegraph reported that Branson was checked into the hospital for tests to make sure that she didn't suffer a stroke while on the air.
However, according to the Hollywood Reporter it looks like those reports were false, and the New York Daily News says that she's "feeling fine" today after being examined by EMT's and getting a ride home from a coworker last night, though I imagine she's probably a little embarrassed.
So it looks like it's safe go forth and lol for the time being, but do me a favor and be gentle until it's 100% clear whether her embarrassing moment was due to a brain fart or a serious medical ailment.
