Engadget brings word that not only is TiVo testing Hulu Plus playback right now, it's also considering letting you stream your TiVo content directly to your iPad!
Apparently some lucky TiVo Premiere subscribers are being invited into a Hulu Plus beta that includes a month of the for-pay service. As part of this little trial, they're being sent a survey which just so happens to include two questions aimed directly at iPad users:
While streaming your TiVo content to your device when you're already at home doesn't exactly get the needle moving, adding Slingbox-like functionality certainly would; it's one of those things that makes you wonder why everyone isn't already doing this. Here's hoping TiVo decides to move forward with this pretty cool idea.
