One of the joys of getting a new Mac is the smell. No seriously; the smell. New Apple devices have an air of freshness about them, something you only get when you first open the box.
If you don't believe us, next time you buy a Mac, take time to savour its aroma.�MacFormat's publisher Charlotte Morgan had her doubts, so when we got the new MacBook Pros in for review, she put it to the test and had a good sniff. To be honest she still has her doubts, but that's because she had a stinking cold and couldn't smell much of anything. Never mind - we'll let her try again when the next Mac line is refreshed.
