Author and Mac fan Guy Kawasaki is giving away his 1987 title�The Macintosh Way�for free.�To download a copy, go to the Facebook page for Kawasaki's new book Enchantment, and press 'Like' (the button at the top of the page). A link appears in the box about�The Macintosh Way. Click on this to open the book in Safari, then select Save As from Safari's File menu to save it to your Mac.
The book, which is subtitled 'The Art of Guerilla Management', offers a short history of Apple (up to 1987, obviously), an outline of Apple's marketing strategy and a section on how user evangelism promoted the Mac in its early years. Twenty years on, it's still surprisingly relevant.
